After school, Matt made some announcements.  Among them was that they are finally starting to demolish the 3rd-4th bathrooms...tomorrow.

We have end of year testing.  They will be cutting tile and knocking down brick walls and the smell--I can't even imagine.

Friends, the girls bathroom is right down the hall from me and the boys bathroom is directly across the hall.

Did I mention we have end of year testing?!?

The renovations were supposed to begin on July 1.  They didn't happen.  They didn't happen over Fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Spring Break.  All those would have been great times.

Contractors hold all the power in our society.

(Also, my students will have the option to either go to the 1st-2nd grade hall or the 5th-6th hall and neither of those options is...good.)

We'll survive it.  Of course we will.  But, yikes.

Also, I don't know how to feel or what to do about this.

I came home yesterday and noticed something on the window.
